We had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of some MINI variants, including a Cooper S 2007 and, more recently, a Clubman Cooper 2008. Despite some extravagant key interior design and the scarcity of practicality, it is hard not to love the MINI for its excellent handling and slick-shifting transmission. Even in our to-do list, however, was for some the experience of the John Cooper Works options that were absent in our previous test car. Fortunately we were able to schedule a short distance with a 2008 MINI Cooper S with some jcw choices. Are the upgrades worth the price of admission?
